Milan Fashion Week:Day Five
THE weather in Milan may be threatening snow and fog, but Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana will bring a little Sicilian sunshine to the catwalks today.A label known for its summery disposition and vast celebratory finales, we can look forward to feeling part of a romantic joyful holiday - come rain or shine.
Marni will deliver more of its signature fresh clean lines and luxe simplicity this morning (no matter what season, the Marni woman's wardrobe is anything but fussy); Emporio Armani will provide fluid femininity shapes with a hint of youthfulness; before Missoni takes the fashion limelight later this afternoon - the label's first womenswear show since the disappearance of boss Vittorio Missoni, who went missing on January 4 after the plane he was travelling in vanished from radars off the Venezuelan coast.
Finishing the day's line-up is Salvatore Ferragamo, a label who saw its profits rise by 12 per cent in 2012.Expect a modern take on well-loved classics.
